We’re here to protect creators and resolve concerns with care and fairness.

Definitions

  • Copyrighted work: The original content you own rights to (for example, photos, text, or designs).
  • Allegedly infringing material: The content on our site you believe uses your work without permission.
  • Notice: Your written request asking us to remove or disable access to allegedly infringing material.
  • Counter-notification: A response from the person who posted the material, asserting the removal was a mistake or misidentification.

What happens next

After we receive a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the identified material and notify the person who posted it. If we receive a valid counter‑notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. Unless the original complainant informs us that they have initiated a legal action seeking a court order, we may restore the material following the DMCA process.

Repeat infringer policy

We take repeated infringement seriously. Where appropriate, we may suspend or terminate accounts, restrict site features, and remove content associated with users who repeatedly infringe others’ copyrights.

Concrete examples

Situation What to include What varinw does
A brand finds its lookbook photos on a product page. DMCA notice with signature, proof you own the photos, and the exact product page URL(s). Review the claim and, if valid, remove or disable access to the images and notify the seller/uploader.
A customer files a notice for images they didn’t create. They must be the owner or authorized agent. Without that, the notice isn’t valid. Request missing authorizations or decline the notice if authorization isn’t established.
An uploader believes their content was removed by mistake. Counter‑notification with signature, prior URL, and statements under penalty of perjury. Forward the counter‑notification to the complainant and may restore the content if no legal action is reported.
Repeated, confirmed infringements by the same user. Notices documenting multiple instances. Apply our repeat infringer policy, which may include account suspension or termination.
